What a Wonderful Weekend

To begin with we got our Christmas shopping all done Friday night

Saturday was was my last AP class, we went to Dustin's grandmothers for her suprise birthday party and Mark Ingram won the Heisman. Alabama's first Heisman trophy winner. Can you say Roll Tide! It was a great day.

And last night we went to watch my neice in her Christmas play.

This little boy was wonderful the entire weekend. He has started to give kisses and it is so sweet. He also said Christmas last night and it was so cute.

I hope everyone had a great weeknd.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

I have been super busy at work this week because on top of all of my usual work I have been doing this:

We have been decorating for Christmas. We still have more lights to put up and decorate the tree. It's starting to look a lot like Christmas (and feel like it too. It is freezing here today).

We are going tonight to finish up our Christmas shopping. Yeah!! I am so ready to be done with it so I can actually enjoy the holidays.

Well I guess it's time for me to go put some lights on our poor little tree.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Getting To Know Me... Christmas Edition.

So I had a post planned for today and I left my camera at home. So maybe you will get that one tomorrow. Anyway since I don't really have anything to blog about today I thought I would do this "Getting to Know Me...Chrismas Edition!" Survey. I got this from Taylor over at Raleigh Caroline. So here it goes:

Roll Tide Roll!!!

Snow Day!!

I live in Alabama and it never snows here. We have had one big snow since I was born. I was in third grade and we stayed buddled up inside around a kerosene heater for days and my brother had some camo coveralls for hunting (remember my brother is over 20 years older than me) that I wore the entire time. I had a blast though. We made snow ice cream, I rode a garbage can lid down our hill, and my cousin came to visit (he walked to our house and it was like 5 miles away).

While I loved "the blizzard of '93" I am glad that it hasn't done that again. Especially now that Landon is here. But on Saturday morning we woke up to this.

But of course I still had to go to school.
Boo...

And of course it all mostly melted before I got back home. So I didn't even get to make a snowman or make snow ice cream. But it was so beautiful to look it even if I was looking at it though the window while I was in class.

And it case you didn't know we beat Florida. We won our 22nd SEC Championship and are going to play Texas for the National Championship!! Woo Hoo.. Roll Tide Roll. It's great to be a Bama Fan.

Show Us Your Life- Christmas Trees

Today over at Kelly's Korner she is hosting Show Us Your Life and today is Christmas Trees. If you are a regular follower of my blog you have already seen my tree because it has been up for a few weeks. I call it "My Little Black Dress" Tree because I have a Barbie ornament that is a little black dress.

Landon loves to look at the tree and is getting more used to it but still doesn't really like to touch it.

Football.

Well football season is almost over. I am so sad but Saturday is going to be HUGE we will be playing Florida for the SEC Championship. It will be a tough game. I hope the Tide will pull through if so we will be playing for a National Championship. Which is awesome. And remember this post where I mentioned that my sister had won season tickets to next years games? Well she was in a contest for a Toyota Tundra and she was one of the nine finalist and she got third place which was the season tickets and guess what? She is giving them to Dustin and me for Christmas. Can you say best Christmas presents ever!

Anyway backt to the SEC Championship game, while I will love looking at Tim Tebow (He is so cute IMO and so humble) but I hope we will be able to stop him. He is a beast and oh so cute. He so should have choosen Bama instead of Florida. I mean look at him...

He would look so much better in Crimson and White. Oh well enough with my Tim Tebow faszination. At least next year when he is in the NFL maybe I won't get criticized so much for liking him.

Roll Tide Roll.
