The Hangover

Have you all seen this movie?

It's hillarious..

Well in a little over 5 weeks I will get to experience a little a bit of the Hangover.

Well, not the date rape drug, Mike Tyson's tiger, or a naked Asian guy.

But....

I am going to Vegas!!!

I am so excited. I can't wait. It will also be my first time to fly so I am a little nervous but super excited.

Have any of you ever been?

Can't Wait

Next Friday night me and my niece are going to see...

and..

We are going to the Brad Paisley concert and Miranda Lambert is opening up for him. I love them both. I can not wait.

I went to see Brad Paisley a few years ago when Carrie Underwood was opening up for him. It was the best concert I have ever been too. This one should be just as good too.

Then I hope to get to go see this on Saturday night.

I love Nicholas Sparks and this is one of my favorite books. I hope the movie is good. It does have Channing Tatum in it so thats a plus.

btw. I feel so much better today. It is amazing what a good nights sleep will do for you.

I'll Admit It...

I am a hypercondriac (The first step is admitting you have a problem right?). So Saturday my jaw kept popping in and out of place all day long. It does this from time to time but not usually as much as it did on Saturday.

Well yesterday around 5:00, my jaw started hurting so bad that it hurt to open it to try to eat supper. Of course I  go looking on the internet to try to find out what could be wrong (my first mistake). Then I started reading about lockjaw. I wouldn't have thought anything about this but I smashed my finger in our fax machine here at work a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't remember the last time I had a tetanus shot. So I get very upset and start thinking I have it.

Around 8 I decide that I am going to go to the ER. Well after much discussion I decided to go by myself and leave Landon at home with Dustin. As I am walking out the door, Landon is screaming at the top of his lungs. I felt so bad, so I got half way down the road and decided to turn around and go back home.

Once I got home and got Landon calmed down and asleep, I went to sleep. This was around 10:15. About 11:40 I woke up and my heart was racing (I believe I was having a panic attack) So I decided that I would go to the ER then. I got to the ER at about 12:15 and there were about 15-20 people in there. I sat there for about 45 before I even got called to see the triage nurse (which happened to be a guy that I used to hang out with in high school. It was good to see him but at the sametime it was akward (especially when he had to ask personal questions)). Then I went back to sit in the waiting room. I sat there until 2:50 without being called so I went and told him that I had to leave because if I didn't there would be no way I would be at home in time to go to work.

I got back home about 3:10 and went to sleep about 3:30 and slept until 5:15. I am running off of about 3 hours of sleep today. I feel much better this morning and I think that I just may have TMJ. I still may go to the walk in clinic this afternoon but we will see about that later.

Well now you all know my problem. Hi my name is Brandi and I am a hypercondriac.

PS. I only developed this after having Landon before I got pregnant with him I don't think I had been to the doctor (besides my yearly gyn app.) in about 4 years. Since I have had him I probably have been to the doctor about 20 times.

On a happier note. The Saints are going to The Super Bowl!! Who Dat?

15 Month Check Up

Tuesday I took Landon for his 15 month check up (almost a month late but not totally my fault). Anyway, everthing went wonderful. He weighed 22 pounds and was 30.31 inches long. His doctor said that it was time to see a pediatric dentist. I thought it was a bit early for that but she said that they actually changed and want to see them at age 1 now. I think I am going to wait until he is 18 months though. At what age did your childern first visit the dentist? She also said that we could buy a potty and begin introducing it to him. I think that we are going to wait a little while for this too. Maybe start introducing him to it around 18 months also. What age did you start introducing the potty to your childern?

CSN.com Review

Remember this post. I told you that I had something fun to share that had to do with online toys. Well I am so excited because now I finally get to share it with you.

Have you heard of CSN.com? Well if you haven't you need to check it out. There are 200+ stores and they are great and have amazing prices. CSN contacted me and I chose to review something from the toysandonlinegames.com store. I chose the Little Tykes Jr Play Slide.

Landon has loved it. The first night we got it we took it out of the box right away and let him play on it. He had so much fun on it. When he would get to the bottom he would just laugh. I love it. He was having so much fun on it that when it was time to put it up so we could eat supper he got so mad.

Daddy helping him on

Getting ready to go down

His face at the end of the slide.

My favorite feature about this slide is that it folds up for storage. With all the toys that we have we need toys that fold up so I can store them out of the way when we are not playing with them.

CSN.com ships to the US and Canda and has hassle free retuns and free shipping on just about everything. So what are you waiting for head over to CSN.com now.

Thank you CSN.com for giving me this oppurtunity.

This product was given to me from CSN in return for my time reviewing the product. I was in no other way compensated for this review.

15 Seconds of Fame

Yesterday our local Walmart had the National Championship Trophy and you could come by and take a picture with it. Dustin has been sick so he didn't go but me and Landon loaded up and went to get our picture taken with the trophy.

It started at 10am and lasted till 2pm. We got there about 9:30 and there was probably already a couple of hundred people in front of us but it didn't take long to get through there.

They were very strict about not touching the football. Well me and Landon got up there to get our picture taken and guess what. He tries to touch the football.

I had to pull him back and as soon as we got out of the crowd here comes the news crew to interview me. I recorded the news on my camera but there is no sound but I will post it and if the news station puts it up on there website I will put the link to it up.

National Champions!

In case you haven't heard, Alabama won there 13th National Championship last night. It's been 17 years since the last one. It is a great day to be a Bama fan.

The game was tough no doubt but we pulled it out. Colt McCoy got hurt in the first half and Texas was playing with a freshman QB and I have to give him props he did very well under the circumstances. But our Heisman trophy winner and the rest of our team played an amazing game.

I stayed up way to late watching it and now I am so tired at work. Well at least it is Friday!

The state of Alabama is Crimson and White today!!

Roll Tide Roll!!!

New Years Resolutions

Well it's that time again. Time to make new years resolutions. Here are mine.

  • To live my life more for God.
  • To be a better wife and mother.
  • To lose weight (this is always a resolution but I usually don't follow through but I hope to change that this year).
  • No more sodas.
I also have a few more but I will leave it at that for now.

Snow and The National Championship

Well it is supposed to snow here in AL today which rarely happens arounds here. Most schools are closed today and some are closed tomorrow too. I work at hospital so I am at work but we may be leaving early. Landon is already for the snow

Doesn't he look so cute in his big puffy jacket. It is a little to big for him though but it keeps him warm. The gloves are attached to it but he has such big hands that they don't fit in them.

Also today is "the day" Alabama is playing Texas for the National Championship. We haven't won a NC since '92 and we have never beaten Texas in a NC game. I hope that changes tonight though. I really hope that the snow doesn't knock the power out.  People have threatened weather stations here about breaking in during the game with weather updates, Crazy. I think it supposed to be over by the time the game starts though.

Anyway, here is hoping for Snow and lots of it and Alabama's 13th National Championship. Roll Tide Roll.

Guess What?

Landon is 15 months old. I can't hardly believe it.

Here is what he has been up to:

  • He talks non stop. Mostly jibber jabber but we are starting to understand a few things. He says This, bite bite, eye, shoe, uh oh, boo, mama, dada, no, toy and a few more.

  • He knows where his eyes and nose are and we are working on our mouth and ears.

  • We are finally bottle free after a little struggle. (true story. We were trying to ditch the bottle and we were in the car going home one night and I gave him his sippy and he threw it in the floor and I said "Landon your a big boy you need to drink from your sippy" and plain as day he said I want my ba ba. I about died.) He gave it up about a week later with no problems.

  • He loves to snuggle when he is sleepy.

  • He is becoming a night owl. He used to go to sleep between 8-9 and now he likes to stay awake until about 10 or after and likes to sleep until about 8 in the morning. He got used to doing this while we were off for Christmas and he did not want to get up at 6 this morning when we had to leave for work. Who could blame him though.

  • He has 7 teeth and two more are coming in.

  • He will eat anything. Yesterday he ate some spinach dip.

  • He loves chicken nuggets and fish sticks but spaghetti is his favorite.

  • He loves any thing that make noise and when he hears it he starts dancing. It is so precious.

  • He loves to kiss you. If you pick him up and he wants back down he will give you a kiss so you will put him back down.

  • He has a super bad temper but is so cute when he gets mad.

  • He makes the face in the picture above all them time and it is so stinkin cute.

  •  He always thinks that you are chasing him.

He is getting to be so big. I don't even think I can call him a baby anymore. He is a toddler.
